Floyd "Joe" Sigler
Floyd “Joe” Sigler, 74, of Osage, Iowa, died Saturday, March 9, 2019, at MercyOne Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Deacon Elayne J. Werges officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.
Joe was born October 3, 1944, at home in Carroll County, Iowa, the son of Fred and Violet (Wray) Sigler, Sr.. Joe was united in marriage to Jeannette Lievrouw on December 18, 1976, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He worked at and retired from L.R. Falk Construction in St. Ansgar. Joe enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with his friends and was very lucky with lottery tickets, but most of all he loved hanging out with his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his children, Lisa (Chris) Shoars of Orchard, Cindy Hastings of Elma, Lenny Hastings of Wisconsin and Spencer Lievrouw of Orchard; grandchildren, Josephine, Dalton, Donovan, Brandon and Avery; six sisters, Gloria (Mitch) Hart of Auburn, Georgia, Virginia (Terry) Fishel of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Eileen (David) Bangtson of Story City, Annette Sigler Lambe of Greensboro, North Carolina, Betty (Joe) Chaloupka of Jefferson, and Judy (Ron) Kolbeck of Jefferson; four brothers, Fred (Donna) Sigler, Jr. of Coon Rapids, Bob (Glenda) Sigler of Jefferson, Marvin Sigler of Young, Arizona, and Tom (Laurie) Sigler of Blaine, Minnesota; a niece, Leah, whom he was very close too, and he had other numerous nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Jeannette in 1994; and a brother, Erik Sigler.
