FROST.

Samuel J. Frost was born near York, Minnesota, on June 23, 1877, and died at McIntire, Iowa, March 23,1905, and was 27 years and 9 months old. He lived in that vicinity until coming to McIntire about six years ago. He was married to Lizzie Tiedeman, Nov. 7, 1900. She died less than two years afterward, followed in a short time by their 3 months old daughter.

The illness that caused his death first showed itself four years ago, and gradually undermined his health, until early last December the trouble became serious. He leaves a father, three sisters, three brothers, and a host of friends to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Woodmen lodge of McIntire. He was an honorable, upright man, popular with his acquaintances, and dearly loved by his friends.

The funeral was held last Friday afternoon at the Congregational church at McIntire, Rev. T. E. Sherman of Le Roy officiating. The interment was in the McIntire cemetery beside his wife and child. The large attendance at the funeral of Woodmen and friends, and the beautiful floral tributes gave eloquent testimonial to the high esteem in which the deceased was held by all acquaintances.
