OBITUARY.
John Kelly was born In Ireland, June 22, 1834. He emigrated to America in the fall of 1853 and settled in York state. He lived there about two years and moved to Watertown, Wis. From there be moved to Werner, Wis., where he was married in January 1863, to Miss Margaret Noonan. In 1887 be moved to Chester and located on the farm where he died.
Mr. Kelly died as he lived, a consistent member of the Catholic church. He was an honest, upright man and community loses in him one of its foremost citizens.
The funeral occurred Wednesday, the remains being taken to Riceville for interment. May he rest in peace. —Chester Herald.
