Joan 'Jo' Gertrude Gudmonson
July 03, 1943 - May 11, 2018
Jo Gudmonson, age 74, of New Prague, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at her home and entered the gates of Heaven, on May 11, 2018. Jo enjoyed spending time with her three children, six grandchildren and other friends and family. Her hobbies included embroidery while listening to the crooning of Conway Twitty.
Those left to honor her memory, include daughter, Tammy (Mark) Laehn and son, Scott (Amy) Meyer, both of Iowa, and daughter, Kimberly Neumann and special friend, Dave Molkenbur, of Minnesota; grandchildren, Stephanie, Kayla, Joshua, Sarah, Troy and Neesa. Other survivors include her mother, Mary Mausehund and siblings, Jan, Larry and June, all of Iowa, and their families. Jo was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Mausehund and brother, Les.
A Meaningful Moments with Jo Gudmonson service will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Eden Presbyterian Church, 3105 Glass Ave., Rudd, Iowa 50471. Interment church cemetery. Luncheon to follow after burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
