DIED: May 24, 2018

Gary Richard Perrin, age 54, of Mason City and formerly of Osage, died Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his home in Mason City.

Per Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Following services, there will be a time for lunch and to greet the family at the Columbus Club, 1403 State Street, Osage, Iowa.

Gary was born November 24, 1963, at Osage, Iowa, the son of Richard and Mary (Badker) Perrin. He graduated from Osage High School in 1982, where he played baseball and basketball. Over the years, Gary worked at various factories, with his longest employment being at Winnebago Industries in Forest City. He spent many hours fishing along the River Road, at the trout stream, and at Big Blue. Gary also enjoyed riding his bike and kayaking.

Gary is survived by his parents, Dick and Mary Perrin of Osage; siblings, Leanne (Bob) Heinzerling of Mason City, Steve (Teresa) Perrin of Osage, Lisa (Kevin) Dodd of Stewartville, Minnesota, and Diane Wagner of Osage. He was a beloved uncle to Shad, Teranie, Alisha, Zach, Andrea, Elyse, Ethan, Konner, Ellah, Seth, Hank and Sabree, and beloved great-uncle to many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Kathryn Perrin and his maternal grandparents, George and Florence Badker, Sr.
