Clifford C. "Butch" Seter, Jr.
Clifford C. " Butch" Seter Jr., age 75, of Orchard, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Pastor Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.
Cliff was born June 13, 1942, in Northwood, the son of Clifford C., Sr and Clara (Bakken) Seter. He graduated from Mitchell High School. Cliff married Karren Jacobs on April 6, 1963, and she died in 1977. He married Carol Trainer on Oct. 5, 1991. Cliff farmed for many years and owned and operated C&C Auto Company. He enjoyed restoring and working on cars, visiting with his customers, and his pet cats. One of his greatest joys was spending time with friends and family.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carol Seter of Orchard; his son, John Seter of Orchard; grandchildren, Kassie Seter of Stacyville, Jacob Seter of Osage, Steven Berge of Rudd; step-children, Patrick (Jana) Trainer of Mendota, Illinois, Connie (Larry) Rasmussen of Cedar Falls, Wendy (Jack) Rash of Raymond, Rebecca Trainer of Des Moines, Mitzi Trainer of Mason City; many step-grandchildren; sister, Millie Jennings of Orchard; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Karren in 1977; his daughter, Kathie Jo in 2007; his grandson, Andrew Berge in 1999; sisters, Grace Jansen and Marcella Larson.
