Jane E. Buechele, age 93, of Grafton, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society in St. Ansgar.
Services will be held at a later date.

#2:Jane Elizabeth Buechele, age 93, of Grafton, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society in St. Ansgar. Memorials may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Choir and Community Choir. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 308 4th Avenue in Grafton, with Pastor Solveig A.H. Zamzow officiating. Inurnment will be in the Grafton Cemetery. Following services, there will be a time for refreshments and fellowship at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Hall.
Jane was born on October 19, 1924, in Minneapolis, MN. She was the only child of Emil and Arminda (Rappath) Buechele. She moved to Grafton with her parents in 1926. Jane was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. She graduated from Grafton High school in 1943. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly and was privileged to sing in the Wartburg Choir. During her lifetime, she worked in Mason City, Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah, San Francisco, Chicago, and Minneapolis.
In 1987 she retired from Touche Ross & Company in Minneapolis and returned to Grafton to live with her mother after the death of her father. Jane loved to sing in church choir wherever she lived. At Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, she experienced many highlights, one being the choir traveling to sing in Manger Square in Bethlehem, Israel.
She enjoyed traveling, walking, most sports as a participant or spectator, hiking hut to hut in Norway, Elderhostel in Arizona studying the American Indians, skiing in northern Minnesota, studying about wolves, and learning how to be a sled dog musher.
Jane is survived by extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
