OSAGE, IOWA - Carl Williamson, 85, of Osage, died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage.
According to Carl’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 8, at the Osage Cemetery in Osage with the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Military honors at the grave by Osage American Legion Post 278.
Following services, there will be a time for the family to greet friends and a lunch served at the Osage American Legion Post 278, 504 Main St. in Osage.

Carl Williamson, age 85, of Osage, died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage.
According to Carl’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Osage Cemetery in Osage with Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Military honors at the grave by Osage American Legion Post 278. Following services, there will be a time for the family to greet friends and a lunch will be served, at the Osage American Legion Post 278, 504 Main Street, Osage, IA 50461.
Carl was born September 18, 1931, in Masonville, the son of Louis and Eloide (Gill) Williamson. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. Carl married Anna Drievold on November 6, 1956. He was member of the Osage American Legion Post 278. Carl enjoyed playing many musical instruments, playing cards, and spending afternoons with friends enjoying adult beverages.
Carl is survived by his daughters, Karla (Roy) Morford of Cedar Rapids and their children Maxwell and Kadyn Morford, Dixie Baker of Marion and her daughter, Dawn (Kyle) Houlsworth; his son, Rodney (Patti) Williamson of Marion; 2 great-grandchildren, Keigen and Ella Houlsworth; sisters, Margaret Williamson of Mitchell, Linda (Donnie) Francis of Mitchell; brother, Claude (Lana) Williamson of Topeka, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Drievold; grandson, Justin Baker; sister, Rotha Pratt; and brother, Louis Williamson.
