Died January 28, 2017

Patricia Ellen Wetter, age 87, of Orchard, died Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Faith Home in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in the Orchard Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

Patricia was born August 17, 1929, near New Haven, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Ellen (Dynes) Plunkett. She attended Osage High School. Patricia married Marvin Wetter on January 7, 1950, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. She was a farm wife who enjoyed taking care of her family and home, gardening, refinishing furniture, and socializing with her brothers, sisters and their families.

Patricia is survived by her children, David (Linda) Wetter of Orchard, Julie (George) Glass of Oskaloosa, and Emily Wetter of Casa Grande, Arizona; three grandchildren, Andrew Glass of Columbus, Indiana, Tressa Glass of Des Moines, and Brandon Wetter of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin in 2015; all of her siblings and their spouses: Viola Plunkett, Velva Humphrey, Verna (Merwin) Marr, Darlene (Gerald) Quinn, Paul Plunkett, and Frank (Silvia) Plunkett.
