Died January 20, 2017

Norma G. O’Harran, age 89, of Osage and formerly of Bettendorf, died Friday, January 20, 2017, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday January 25, 2017, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Home.

Norma was born March 16, 1927 in Bellevue, Iowa, the daughter of Gerhard and Alverda (Hoffmann) Neuwohner. She graduated from the Visitation Academy in Dubuque.

Norma married John P. O’Harran on August 27, 1954. He passed away on November 23, 2001. Norma worked in the offices at Hub Clothing Co. in Dubuque, First Trust and Savings Bank, Sound Engineering in Davenport, Plumbs Floor Co., and Seneca in Bettendorf.

Norma is survived by: A brother, James (Helen) Neuwohner, Osage; two nephews, Jeff (Sue) Neuwohner of Lake Mills and Jon (Laurie) Neuwohner of Cedar Rapids and grand-nieces.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents and husband.
