George Ole Wilhelm (Reisaetter) Williams was born 1869 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Vigliek (William) Reisaeter Olesen and Sigri Gundersdatter (Gundersen), the second of their five children. His siblings were: Laura Gurina, Gustav Moller, Peter and Carl. He also had a half-brother, Helleck Pederson Benson.
Found in the 1870 - 1885 censuses living on a farm near Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1870: William Oleson 50, Sarah Oleson 30, Alex Oleson 9, George Oleson 1, Laura Oleson 2, Henry Anderson 30.
1880: William Olieson 63, Sarah Olieson 41, George Olieson 11, Millard Olieson 8, Laura Olieson 13, Peter Olieson 5, Carl Olieson 2, Halleck Peterson 19.
1885: William Olson 60, Sarah Olson 47, Laura Olson 18, George Olson 15, Gust Olson 13, Peter Olson 10, Carl Olson 6.
George never married, nor had children. His father used the surname Reisaetter and/or Olesen; George and his siblings used the surname Reisaetter, Williamsen or Williams.
George died 1893 from complications of TB at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. His death record found in the Rock Creek Lutheran Church book lists his name as George Reisaetter, age 25 but does not give specific death date.
He was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
There is a memorial for him at Find a Grave #43028615 with photos.
