Died March 14, 2016

Sharon K. Lomholt, 75, of Bullhead City, Arizona, and formerly of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Faith Lutheran Nursing Home (Hospice).

There will be a gathering on Friday, March 18, 2016 between 5-7pm and a Celebration of her life on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 am with a luncheon to follow. Both will be located at Osage Alliance Church, 726 State Street, Osage, Iowa.

Sharon was born October 3, 1940, in Mason City, the daughter of George & Marlys (Allen) Johnson. She graduated in 1958 from Osage High School. Sharon was united in marriage to Le Roy Lomholt on December 13, 1958 in Mapleview, Minnesota.

Sharon loved to be with people, she was involved with Women’s connections, Bible studies, and helping out at church, hobbies were crocheting, watching game shows and dropping a few coins in slot machines. She was a member of Osage Alliance church, and attended Valley Christian Center since moving to Bullhead City, Arizona.

Sharon is survived by her husband Roy; five children: Le Roy “David” Lomholt of Mason City, Iowa, Theresa Hall of Mason City, Iowa, Cathleen (Todd) Sorenson of Osage, Iowa, Richard “Kermit” (fiancé’ Dawn) Lomholt of Mason City, Iowa, and Mark Lomholt of Mason City, Iowa; Nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, George Charles Johnson Jr. and his wife Pauline of Taylorsville, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by three sisters: Georgiana Hill, Mary Lauritson, Judith Johnson; and by two brothers, Thomas Johnson & Edward Johnson.
