Henry Nordal Tollefson was born May 15, 1886 at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa to Tollef Mikkelson Rust Tollefson and Aase Jensdatter Myre Gilbertson, the youngest of their seven children.
Henry was baptized on June 14, 1886 at the First Lutheran Church at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa. He was confirmed at the same church on June 9, 1901.
Found in the 1895 - 1910 censuses living on a farm at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1895: Henry N Tollefson age 8.
1900: Tollef M Tollefson 59, Aase Tollefson 58, John M Tollefson 33, Jennie M Tollefson 27, Laurits A Tollefson 18, Henry N Tollefson 14, Ingaborg Tollefson 36.
1910: Tollef M Tollefson 69, Aasa Tollefson 68, John M Tollefson 43, Henry Tollefson 24, Herman Priewe 25.
Henry married an Emma S. (maiden surname unknown). The couple had at least 3 children: Norbert, Harold and Virginia.
Found in the 1930 census at St Paul, MN: Henry Tollefson 43, Emma Tollefson 42, Norbert Tollefson 9, Harold Tollefson 7, Virginia Tollefson 6.
Found in 1920 - 1960 city directories living at St Paul, Minnesota. He was an electrician with a power company in Minneapolis, MN.
Henry N Tollefson died April 25, 1968 at St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota. He was buried at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery at Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.
There is a memorial for him at Find a Grave #97696090 with a photo of his gravestone.
