GORDONSVILLE, MINNESOTA - Deborah Ann (Patrick) Arrett, 61, of Gordonsville, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Rochester, Minnesota.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood.
Deb was born on May 19, 1954, in Austin, Minnesota, to Donald and Ann Patrick. She graduated from St. Ansgar High School with the class of 1972. She attended Ankeny Iowa Community College from 1972–1974. Deb was united in marriage to Donald Arrett on November 7, 1981, at the First Lutheran Church in Northwood, Iowa.
Deb’s work background included working with Special Needs Disability Center, Ankeny. While obtaining her CAN license she worked at various retirement centers including Northwood, Albert Lea and Lake Mills. Deb also worked at Sorenson Bros. – Construction in Albert Lea and Farmstead.
Deb always enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Some of the places included the 1967 World Expo in Montreal, Canada, Southern California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and throughout the Midwest.
She is survived by: husband, Don; Son, Chad Patrick of St. Ansgar, Step-daughters, Sandy (Arrett) Swalve of Thompson, Iowa, Kim (Arrett) Soost of Buffalo Center, Iowa; Grandchildren, Grace, Noah, Calem Patrick; Siblings, Dan Patrick of St. Ansgar, Dwight Patrick of Aurora, Colorado, David Patrick of Carpenter, Diane (Patrick) Ackerman of Highland, Wisconsin, and Donna (Patrick) Tirado of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and eight nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Donald and Ann Patrick of Grafton, Iowa; grandparents Charles and Sadie Patrick and Art and Joyce Christenson.
