Inger Marie Rustad was born September 22, 1884 at Norway to Christoffer Rustad and Inger Ostensdatter Hagen.
She emigrated in 1903 to America and settled in Mitchell County, Iowa.
On July 1, 1904, Inger married Herman Syversen Klemesrud at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
The couple had two daughters:
Gunda Sadie (b December 26, 1904 at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa, d March 25, 1997 at Oxford, Butler, Ohio) and
Thelma Christine (b September 29, 1906 at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa, d July 21, 1985 at Hennepin, Minnesota.
Found in the 1915 - 1930 censuses living on a farm at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa:
1915: Mary Klemesrud age 30.
1920: Herman Klenetarad 61, Mary I Klenetarad 37, Gunda S Klenetarad 15, Thelma C Klenetarad 13, Carrie Klenetarad 63.
1925: H S Klemetsrud 66, Mary Klemetsrud 40, Gunda Klemetsrud 20, Thelma Klemetsrud 18.
1930: Herman Klenneterud 71, Mary I Klennstarud 46, Thelma C Klennstarud 23, Carrie Klennstarud 74.
Mary Klemesrud died on July 25, 1955 at Hennepin, Minnesota. She was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
