DIES AT ROCHESTER,
ILL BUT TWO WEEKSVirginia A. Mullenbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mullenbach of Stacyville, passed away Saturday at St. Mary's hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Virginia had been ill for the past two weeks suffering from a complication of diseases, and had been in the hospital for that length of time. Her mother and sisters were at her beside during her illness.
She was born at the parental residence on June 28, 1930. She began her schooling at Visitation academy at the age of 6 years. She would have entered the 8th great at the next term.
Her brothers, Pvt. Ralph and Sgt. Albert Mullenbach were able to come home on short furloughs.
Virginia leaves her mother and father; five brothers: Irvin and Delphin, both of Rochester; Sgt. Albert, stationed at Kearns, Utah; Pvt. Ralph, of Camp Young, California, and Norbert at home; also her sisters, Dorothy and Helen.
The funeral service was held at Visitation church, Wednesday at 9:00 o'clock, and interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
