OSAGE, IOWA - Donald Lee Wilson, 79, of Osage died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

Don Wilson

Donald Lee Wilson, age 79, of Osage, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Inurnment will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.
Don was born September 23, 1935, in David, Iowa, the son of George and Ruth (Heran) Wilson. On June 27, 1959, he married Theresa Janet Hemann at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. They lived and raised their family in Osage. Don was a supervisor and truck driver for Kark Rendering for twenty-three years. In 1995, he started working for L.R. Falk Construction until his retirement. He enjoyed his motorcycle, his Jeep, playing solitaire at the kitchen table, and especially enjoyed his dog, Bubba.
Don is survived by his wife, Theresa Janet Wilson of Osage; his children, Lisa (Garry Ranum) Osterkamp of Osage, Brian Wilson of St. Ansgar, Shelly (Scott) Hickman of Mason City, Richard (Erin) Wilson of Osage; his eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Ranum, Ashley Ranum, Tiffany Raymond, Tara Wilson, Heather Wilson, Michael Hickman, Taylor Hickman, Rylee Hickman, Reese Wilson, Sasha Wilson, Brooklyn Wilson; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Robert “Huck” (Sylvia) Wilson of St. Ansgar; and his sister, Joan Edwards of Munford, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his three sisters, Dora Eastman, Alda Toye and Shirley Wrench; and his twin brother, Richard Wilson.
