Stella Eleanora (Peterson) Wrage was born August 21, (one source says 22), 1909 at rural Rudd, Floyd, Iowa to Seaver Jacobsen Peterson and Emma Josephine Nelson, their only child.

Stella was baptized on September 26, 1909 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Lars Bastian Larson; Julia Evenson; Martinus Pederson. Stella was confirmed at RCLC on May 13, 1923.

Stella married Claire Augusta Wrage on December 20, 1937 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Chickasaw, Iowa. The couple had 6 children.

Found in the 1910 - 1940 censuses living on a farm at rural Rudd, Floyd, Iowa:
1910: Sever Peterson 40, Emma Josefine Nelson Peterson 39, Stella E Peterson 6 mos.

1915: Stella E Peterson age 5.

1920: Seiver J Peterson 49, Emma Peterson 48, Stella Peterson 10.

1925: Sever J Peterson 54, Emma Peterson 53, Stella E Peterson 15.

1930: Seaver Peterson 60, Emma J Peterson 59, Stella E Peterson 20.

1940: Seaver J Peterson 70, Claire A Wrage 29, Stella E Wrage 30, Robert S Wrage 1, Marianne J Wrage 5 mos.

Stella E Wrage died on October 21, 1952 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
