Obituary for Larry Ernest Luther--
Larry Ernest Luther, 72 of Duncan Heights, formerly of Northwood, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.
A graveside service for Larry will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the St. Ansgar Cemetery with Reverend Judy Converse officiating.
Larry Ernest Luther was born on April 1, 1942, in Northwood, the son of Earl and Evelyn (Walswick) Luther. Larry was formerly educated in the Otranto and St. Ansgar Schools.
Larry worked as a custodian for McDonalds Restaurant through Opportunity Village in Clear Lake. Larry also loved raising chickens, fishing, flowers, and gardening.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Brother, Dennis Luther of La Plata, Missouri, sister, Betty Goodrich of Northwood, and brother, Roger (Rita) Luther of Rockfalls; many nieces, nephews; many other extended family members and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Evelyn (Walswick) Luther; sisters, Shirley Boerjan and Donna Hutzell; brother, Gary Luther, and a brother-in-law, Russell Hutzell.
Conner Colonial Chapel, 1008 First Ave. South, Northwood, is in charge of the arrangements.
