Olga Johanna Olson was born February 26, 1895 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa to John Olson and Gubjorg Guttormsdatter, the third of their four children.
Olga was baptized on April 12, 1895 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Lars Wamstad; Carl Erikson and Kari A.
Found in the 1900 - 1920 censuses at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:
1900: John Olson 59, Julia Olson 42, Carolina Olson 17, Gustav Olson 14, Olga Olson 5, Julius Olson 1, Johan Olson 58
1910: John Olson 70, Gulbjorg Guttormsdatter Anderson Olson 50, Olga Olson 16, Julius Olson 12, Johan Olson 68.
1915: Olga Olson age 20.
1920: John Olson age 80, emigrated 1873, naturalized in 1880. Born in Sweden; wife Julie age 63 born in Norway, emigrated 1873; son Julius G age 21, born in Iowa, farmer; daughter Olga age 24 born in Iowa, single; brother Johan age 77
Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:
1930: Gulbjor Olson 73, Olga J Olson 35, Johan Olson 87.
1940: Olga J Olson age 45.
Olga never married nor had children.
Olga J Olson died March 24, 1995 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa at the age 100 years. She is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
There is a memorial for her at Find A Grave # 99561757 with her photo.
