Arthur Grimm – June 14, 1904 – October 15, 1949

FUNERAL FOR ART GRIMM
VICTIM OF HUNTING MISHAP

Mass was said by Father Gregory Hemasath at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning at Stephen's Catholic Church in Chester, for Arthur Grimm who was the victim of a fatal accident Saturday evening.

Death occurred Saturday after Mr. Grimm had gone out hunting foxes from a tractor. A shot was heard at the house and Mrs. Grimm went to the field to investigate. She found the gun on the tractor discharged and Mr. Grimm lying on the ground face down, shot internally. A coroner pronounced the death accidental.

Besides his wife, he leaves thirteen children to mourn his death.

Arthur Grimm was born June 14, 1904 in Howard County, Iowa, the son of Charles and Lizzie Grimm. He was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell County, Iowa. He married Bertha Weber, the daughter of Henry and Agatha Weber.
