Martha Kristine Nubson was born September 19, 1883 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Christopher Rustebakke Nubson and Marith Andersdatter Lindelien, the seventh of their ten children.

Martha was baptized on November 4, 1883 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Kristofer Goplerud; Kristofer Goplerud Jr and Olea Johnsen. She was confirmed at RCLC on June 18, 1899.

Martha married Carl Field on June 30, 1909 at Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Iowa. The couple had no children.

Found in the 1885 - 1940 censuses living on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1885: Christ Neebson 43, Mary Neebson 32, Olena Neebson 10, Rachel Neebson 9, Mary Neebson 7, Nels Neebson 6, Martha Neebson 1.

1900: Marit Nubson 49, Olina Nubson 27, Maria A Nubson 23, Nils Nubson 21, Martha C Nubson 16, Siri G Nubson 14, Alfred N Nubson 10, Alma O Nubson 8, Anders Hanson 20.

1910: Carl Field 22, Martha Kristine Nubson Field 26, Thomas Gilis 28.

1920: Carl Field 33, Martha C Field 36.

1925: Carl Fied 30, Martha C Fied 41.

1930: Carl Field 42, Martha N Field 46, Herbert C Christianson 21.

1940: Carl Field 51, Martha N 56.

Martha Field died December 2, 1970 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

There is a memorial for her at Find a Grave #56810840 with her photo.
