Edvard Halsteinsen Everson Norby was born September 23, 1866 at Black Earth, Dane, Wisconsin to Halstein Everson (Norby) and Taran Olsdatter Juvbraaten, the fifth of their twelve children.
In 1869, Edward moved west to Mitchell County, Iowa with his parents.
Found in the 1870 - 1885 censuses living on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1870: Holstien Everson 39, Tyron Everson 33, Iver Everson 11, Olous Everson 10 Mary Everson 6, Edward Everson 4, Elesa Everson 2, Erik Johnson 28, Helga Holverson 19.1880: Holstein Iverson 49, Tharine Iverson 42, Iver Iverson 21, Olevas Iverson 19, Anna Iverson 15, Edward Iverson 13, Henry Iverson 9, Laurice Iverson 7, Carl Iverson 5, Caroline Iverson 3, Elisabeth Iverson 8 mos.
He never married, nor had children.
He died at the age of 14 on October 22, 1880 at his home at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa from presumably a ruptured appendix. He is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
