Kenady Kay Bartz, infant daughter of Chris Bartz and Shelbi Taets, was born Monday, December 1, 2014, and passed away shortly after birth, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin, Minnesota.

Private family services were held at the Osage Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Kaltwasser officiating. Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Chris Bartz and Shelbi Taets, and her sister, Kylee of Little Cedar; maternal grandmother, Carrie (Gene) Evans of Osage; maternal grandfather, Loren (Tammy) Taets of St. Ansgar; paternal grandmother, Gloria Bartz of Osage; maternal great-grandmother, Jean Taets of Osage; maternal great-grandparents, Calvin and Sandy Thompson of Osage; paternal great-grandmother, Agnes Weber of Austin, Minnesota; aunts and uncles, Maci Taets, Trevor Taets, and Emmi Taets, all of Osage, Melissa (Eric) Teichmeier of Stacyville, Matthew (Nicole) Bartz, and Andrew Bartz, all of Osage; and cousins, Hunter Teichmeier, Gage Teichmeier, and Kaylen Bartz.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harold Bartz; maternal great-grandfather, Russell Taets; paternal great-grandparents, Arthur and Anna Bartz; and paternal great-grandfather, Charles Weber.
