(Died November 24, 2014)

Dolores Kronemann, age 83, of Britt and formerly of Carpenter, died Monday, November 24, 2014, at Westview Care Center in Britt.

There will also be visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage.

Dolores was born November 21, 1931, in Osage, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Aterna (Falk) Wagner. She grew up on a farm near Osage and attended country school in the Osage area. On August 21, 1950, she married Glenn Kronemann at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Dolores and Glenn farmed near St. Ansgar until 1970 when they moved to Britt.

Dolores finished her GED at NIACC in 1983. In 1990, they moved to Carpenter. Dolores was first and foremost a great mother who was extremely proud of the eight children that she and Glenn had raised. Over the years, she also worked at Dummett Bakery in Osage, Hancock Memorial Hospital and Martings Manufacturing, both in Britt. She was the secretary/treasurer of the Carpenter Community Center and was involved with various groups at Sacred Heart Church in Osage and Queen of Peace Church in Lyle, Minnesota.

After Glenn’s death in 2012, Dolores was a resident at the Summit House and the Westview Care Center. Dolores enjoyed reading, embroidery, gardening, fishing, camping, and listening to old time country music, especially the music of the Grafton Boys. She made wonderful pies for the Carpenter Community Center and for others that would request them.

Dolores is survived by her children, Douglas (Linda) Kronemann of Osage, Diane (Lyle) Passmore of Minnesota Lake, Minnesota, Nancy (Marvin) Trenary of Kanawha, Lynn (Daniel) Doughan of Britt, David Kronemann of Crystal Lake, Susan Marshall of Gig Harbor, Washington, Wayne (Michelle) Kronemann of Britt, and Brian Kronemann of Kanawha; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Gilson of Lamont; and brother, Paul (Minerva) Wagner of Osage.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Kronemann; her great-grandson, Christopher Kronemann; brothers, Vincent and Robert Wagner; and sister, Lucille Johnson.
