Funeral services were held on Monday, February 7, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Osage, Iowa, for Arthur B. Lugg, 68, who died Thursday, February 3, 1983. Rev. J. Nesheim officiated at the service, burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He was born on September 28, 1914, the son of Ray and Anna Dierich Lugg.

He was baptized on April 4, 1926, confirmed in 1940 and was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Arthur graduated from the Osage High School and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

He was employed by the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad for39 years and retired seven years ago.

He was married on April 20, 1040 to Mae Olswald.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Adeline, of Texas.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Mae of Osage; by two sons, Keith of Mason City and Glenn of Washburn; one daughter, Mrs. Rick (Mavis) Kleckner of Orchard; his mother, Mrs. Anna Hubbard, Weslaco, Texas; two brothers, Lloyd of Ventura and Raymond of Mercedes, Texas; two sisters, Edna, of Elsa Texas, and Janet of Mercedes, Texas; and by three grandchildren.
