Funeral services will beheld tomorrow, Thursday, at the United Methodist Church, Osage, for Mary Marquardt, 53, who died at her home on January 17, 1983.
Mrs. Marquardt was born on August 29, 1929, the daughter of Henry and Minnie Kenyon, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Marquardt graduated from Iowa Teachers College, Cedar Falls, Iowa, with a teaching degree in physical education.
She married Wyman Marquardt on June 8, 1952, in Cedar Rapids. The couple moved to Osage, Iowa, in 1958, where Mr. Marquardt was a band director until his death in 1980. mary associated with the Homemaker Health Aide service in Mitchell County since 1971 and was director of home health services at the time of her death.
She is survived by four children, a daughter, Marcia of Webster city; three sons: Charles, of Mason City, Brian, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Curtis, of Osage.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.
Rev. J. Pittman will officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Ogden.
