Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 22, 1982 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Osage for Emil Schallock who died Tuesday morning at the White House Nursing Home. He had made his home there since December, 1969.

Rev. Kit Belk officiated at the service with burial in the Osage Cemetery.

Emil Schallock was born August 30, 1922 in Rock Township rural Osage to Emil and Martha Eske Schallock. He attended school in Mitchell County.

Surviving are four brothers: Lawrence of Osage, LaVern of Floyd, Lloyd of New Haven and Clarence of Orchard; three sisters, Leona Warrington of Osage, Mrs. Joseph (Olga) Anderson and Mrs. Stanley (Elsie) Hyland both of Orchard; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother and two nephews.
