LYLE, MINNESOTA - Agnes A. Olsen, 97, of Lyle, Minnesota, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Good Samaritan Care Center in St. Ansgar.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014, at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church, rural Lyle, with the Rev. Lydia Mittag officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, Minnesota, and at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment is at Six Mile Grove Cemetery, rural Lyle.
Worlein Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com .

Agnes A. Olsen, age 97 of Lyle, Minnesota passed away Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Good Samaritan Care Center in St. Ansgar, Iowa. She was born January 9, 1917 to Herman O. and Selma J. (Nelson) Austinson in Nevada Township, Mower County, Minnesota. She grew up in Lyle where she graduated from Lyle High School. She married Garmen Olsen on February 22, 1941. A homemaker and farm wife, Agnes enjoyed golfing, bowling and dancing. Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Melody (Scott) Schrag of St. Ansgar, Iowa; three sons, Derby (Barb) Olsen of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Derry (Debbie) Olsen of Lyle, Minnesota, Marty (Deb) Olsen of Lyle, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters, Marcene Pell of Austin, Minnesota, Loreen Kilgore of Austin, Minnesota; a brother, Paul (Joan) Austinson of Rochester; sister-in-law Barb Austinson of Cleveland, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Selma Austinson; her husband Garmen in 1978, three sons, a granddaughter, brothers, sisters and two sons-in-law.
