Avilla Amalia Larson was born December 12, 1892 at Superior, Douglas, Wisconsin to Thomas Larson and Olia Olsdatter Haugen, their only child.

Found in the 1900 - 1910 censuses living at Pike Creek, Morrison, Minnesota:

1900: Thomas Larson 41, Lena Larson 37, Avilla Larson 6.

1905: Avilla Larson age 12.

1910: Thomas Larson 51, Lena Larson 47, Avilla A Larson 17.

Found in the 1915 - 1925 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1915: Avilla Larson age 21.

1920: Thomas Larson 60, Lena Larson 56, Avecola A Larson 28.

1925: Thomas Larson 65, Lena Larson 63, Avilla A Larson 31.

Avilla married Olvin Herbert Moe on September 7, 1926 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa. The couple had no children. She inherited the farm on the Rudd blacktop, from her father. They lived in the old house which may have been built by Pete & Mary Hovind. It stood north of the chicken house. The present house was built by John Abenson (Tom's brother-in-law) from Austin, Minnesota, and Oscar Haugen in 1926.

Couple found in the 1930 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Olvin H Moe 32, Avilla A Moe 37.

Avilla died September 12, 1979 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
