Obituary from Osage News, July 12, 1900:

Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home in the Second ward, Mrs. Lars Iver Olsen breathed her last. She had been ill but a short time but she knew that death was approaching and did not fear to go.

Anna Regina Larson was born at St. Ansgar, Iowa, March 2, 1863 and has always lived in Mitchell County. On June 11, 1881, she was married to Lars Iver Olsen. To this union eight children were born, three of whom have preceded the mother to the better land. Three of the five living children are girls and two, including a four week old baby, are boys. The baby is being cared for by Mrs. Lars B. Larson, but Mrs. Martha Torblaa, a sister of Lars Iver's, will take care of the little one, where it will be nearer the father and other children.

The funeral was held yesterday, July 11, from the Lutheran Church in Osage at noon. Rev. Thompson preaching in English, and from the Rock Creek Church at three o'clock, Rev. Olsen preaching in Norwegian. Rev. Olsen confirmed Mrs. Olsen, performed the marriage ceremony and at last said the last words over her remains. She was laid to rest in the Rock Creek cemetery beside her three children.
