Ronald Marlin Koster was born August 19, 1944 at Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa to Marlin Louis Koster and Marjorie Ann Lowe, the oldest of their five children. Ronald served in the US Army and fought in Vietnam.
Married Judy Kruckenberg on April 11, 1962 at First Lutheran Church, Blooming Prairie, Steele, Minnesota.
The couple had three children: a daughter (still living in 2014); son, James Marlin (b March 17, 1964 Germany, d April 17, 2001 Austin, Mower, Minnesota) and a son, Jeffrey Ronald (b April 17, 1967 Osage, Mitchell, Iowa. d October 6, 2013 Portland, Oregon).
His second marriage was to Susan Aquillen on April 22, 1976 at Clark, Washington and his third was to Donna Cost.
Ronald Marlin Koster died April 17, 1992 at Multnomah, Oregon. He was cremated and a memorial service was held at the First Lutheran Church, Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. Inurnment was at the St Ansgar Cemetery, St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.
