Ida B Knutson was born May 21, 1882 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Knut Engebritsen Knutson and Anna Iversdatter Dahle, the youngest of their three daughters.

Found in the 1885 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: J N Daley 62, Elizabeth Daley 64, Oley Daley 24, Anna Knudson 26, Amelia Knudson 6, Lizzie Knudson 5, Ida Knudson 2.

Ida was confirmed at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church on June 13, 1897 at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1900, 1910 censuses living at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa working as a housemaid and servant:
1900: Ida Knutson age 18.
1910: Ida Knudtson age 27.

Ida married Karl (Carl) Robert Lofgren on June 4, 1911 at Watford City, McKenzie, North Dakota. (Karl b July 29, 1875 Vaermland, Sweden, d September 21, 1956 Wheelock, North Dakota).

The couple adopted a daughter, Eileen (b September 1, 1924 St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, d October 26, 2007 Williston, Williams, North Dakota).

Found in the 1920 - 1940 censuses at Wheelock, Williams, North Dakota:
1920: Robert Lofgren 44, Ida Lofgren 37, Anna Knutson 68.

1925: Ida Lofgren age 44

1930: Robert Lofgren 54, Ida Lofgren 47, Eileen Lofgren 5, Anna Knutson 71.

1940: Carl R Lofgren 64, Ida Lofgren 57, Eileen Lofgren 15.

Ida B Lofgren died May 10, 1973 at Wheelock, Williams, North Dakota and is buried at the Wheelock Cemetery, Wheelock, Williams, North Dakota.
