Sarah Diane (Vining) Brown – March 11, 1867 – June 15, 1946

Death followed a 24-hour illness for Mrs. Sarah Brown of Spring Green Saturday. She was 79.

The only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Vining, she was born March 11, 1867, in Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, and christened Sarah Diane. With her parents, she moved to Orchard, Iowa, where she was educated.

Her marriage to Charles David Brown, who died April 13, 1924, took place on April 25, 1889. In 1915 Mrs. Brown Joined the Congregational Church of Orchard. In 1923 the family moved to Spring Green, Wisconsin.

Private funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Richardson home, Rev. Robert F. Merritt officiating. Burial was in the Spring Green cemetery.

Survivors include her four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Becker and Mrs. William Jordan of Spring Green, Mrs. Thomas Pyburn of Waterloo, and Mrs. Margaret Storkson of Madison, and a son, Lee of Spring Green.
