Roger A. Anderson, 86, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, and formerly of Osage, Iowa, died Friday, May 23, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque. Services will 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with Pastor Wayne Whittenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cuba City, Wisconsin. Friends may also call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Roger was born on November 6, 1927, in Carpenter, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Albertine M. (Paasch) Anderson. He married Marian I. Wright on August 1, 1948, in Osage. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2010. Roger was a truck driver for 50 years, driving for three companies, McCoy, Kroblin and H & W Transport, during his lifetime. He belonged to the Teamsters Union for 50 years.

Survivors include three sons, David (Debbie) Anderson, of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Steven and Samuel Anderson, both of Dickeyville; three grandchildren, Alan, Amanda and Kevin; and five great-grandchildren, David, Chance, Christopher, Jordan and Colton James.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruth Jean Konrad.

Funeral services were originally scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. At this time services have been postponed and once we have a confirmed day and time, we will post that information.
