Phoenician Dies in Local Hospital

Robert William Beebe, 31, died Saturday night at a local hospital.

Born November 11, 1918, in Osage, Iowa, he was admitted to the hospital here from Phoenix nine days ago. He had been a resident of the state for five years.

A repairman by occupation, Beebe is survived by his widow, Margaret, Phoenix, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martell Beebe, Osage, Iowa.

The remains will be sent to Phoenix tomorrow morning for burial*. The Hunter-Douglass Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Also buried at Harlington Cemetery, Waverly, are his parents, Martell Beebe April 6, 1892 - Nov 16, 1969, and Matilda A. Beebe March 6, 1897 - July 31, 1993; two brothers, Donald (Aug. 12, 1931 - Feb 2, 1947) who was accidentally shot, and George (1914-1933) who died of sleeping sickness.

Three sons, Norman of Lake City, Minn., Richard of Memphis, Tenn., and Bruce of Merritt Island, Fla; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Kramer (Cramer in a another obit) of Eldora and Mrs. Jerry Meyer of Travers City, Mich.
