Judy A. Shrum, age 73, of Stacyville, Iowa, formerly of Austin, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

Services are pending, with Worlein Funeral Home of Austin in charge of arrangements.

Judy Ann Shrum, 73, of Stacyville, Iowa, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

She was born January 12, 1941, to Clarence and Beulah (Wells) Weekley in Waterloo, Iowa. She married Lawrence R. Rust, Sr. on October 31, 1958. They were later divorced. Judy made her home in Tennessee, Waterloo, Iowa, and for the past 15 years, in Austin. She had a strong faith in Jesus and loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.

Survivors include one son, Larry (Sarah) Rust of Lyle, Minnesota; daughter, Darlene Martin of Waterloo, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Raquel (Danny) Anderson, Ryan Rust, Anthony Rust, Lucas Rust, Dana (Lester) Jefferson, Dawn Laws and Darius Phillips; eight great-grandchildren, Chase, Addyson, Amari, Niya, Leana, Taija, Tyvon and Tiana; three brothers, Larry Weekley of Independence, Iowa; Jerry (Julia) Weekley of Waterloo, Iowa; Billy (Sally) Weekley of Kirksville, Mo.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Amber and thirteen siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with Rev. Dr. Stephen DeFor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery, Austin. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
