INTERMENT HERE FOR JOHN EGAN

Funeral services for John V. Egan, 80, of Detroit, Michigan, were held Saturday at St. Aloysius Church in Detroit.

Mr. Egan, nephew of the deceased, was celebrant of the funeral mass. Mr. Egan's body was brought to Osage for burial. His only remaining sister, Mrs. Louise Taylor, accompanied the body along with their daughter Phyllis.

John V. Egan was the son of the later John and Delia Egan and a former resident of the Osage area.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by 22 nieces and nephews.

John was a graduate of Loras college and worked for 30 years at Detroit Edison Co. as a cost-analysis administrator. He was a member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, on the board of advisory at St. Aloysius parish and a very active member there in Detroit.

Local relatives are Mrs. Al Halbach of Osage, and Mrs. Catherine Blaser of New Haven.
