MRS JACK TATGE TAKEN BY DEATH
Funeral rites were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Belle Plaine for Mrs. Jack Tatge, 60, who died February 18, 1981, at the University Hospitals in Iowa City following a long battle with cancer. Burial was there.
Margaret Joan Kleckner was born on July 13, 1920, at New Haven, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Rose Weber Kleckner. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in New Haven and from La James Beauty School in Mason City. She was a beautician for 40 years.
Jack Tage and Margaret Kleckner were married on February 6, 1951.
Surviving are her husband Jack of Belle Plaine; her mother, Mrs. Rose Kleckner of Osage; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Smalley of New Haven, Mrs. Marlin Havig (Elaine) of Osage, Mrs. Delores Byrnes of Riceville and Kathleen Rothebuhler of South Pasadena, California; two brothers, Bernard of Orchard and Donald of Osage; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father, Alfred Kleckner and an infant brother, Duane.
