Funeral rites for a former Mitchell resident, Mrs. Adina Holm, 74, who died January 26, 1981, at a Mason City hospital, are tentatively set for Thursday. Mrs. Holm had been a resident at the Good Shepherd Geriatric Center in Mason City for the past year. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons: Merle of Mason City; Gene of Osage and Darrell of Mason City; one daughter, Mrs. William Squier (Joyce) of St. Ansgar; one brother, Roy Brandt of Riceville; two sisters, Adeline Dammen of Mitchell and Norma Wright of Ossge; and six grandchildren.

RITES HELD FOR MRS. ADINA HOLM
Funeral rites for a former Mitchell woman, Mrs. Adina Holm, 74, who died January 26, 1981 at a Mason City hospital, were held Thursday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Burial was in the Osage cemetery.
Adina Brandt was born on May 4, 1906, in St. Ansgar, the daughter of Albert and Bertha Bruggeman Brandt. She grew to adulthood in Mitchell County, and was married to Arthur Holm on January 12, 1933. They continued to reside in the St. Ansgar and Mitchell areas and for the past year she had been a resident of the Good Shepherd Geriatric Center in Mason City.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce, Mrs. William Squier of St. Ansgar; three sons, Merle and Darrell of Mason City and Gene of Osage; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Ray Brandt of Riceville; two sisters, Adeline Dammen of Mitchell and Norma Wright.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Arthur; two infant children; her parents; two sisters and one brother.
