LAURIE, MISSOURI - Patricia Ann Christiansen, 76, of Laurie, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. She was born February 7, 1937, in Osage, Iowa, a daughter of the late Glenn and Viletta (Lund) Mauser.
On June 22, 1957, at the Methodist Church in Osage, she was united in marriage to Don Christiansen who preceded her in death on August 10, 1995.
While living in Osage, she was a very active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and was currently a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Laurie.
She loved music and enjoyed singing and playing the keyboard. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and playing golf.
She is survived by her children, Candace Christiansen and fiancé Frank De La Rosa of Austin, Texas and David Christiansen and wife Becky of Laurie, Missouri; a granddaughter, Heather Christiansen of Laurie, Missouri; sisters, Janis Schroeder and Marlys Pritchard both of St. Paul, Minnesota; a niece, Stacy McGough; nephews, Scott Schroeder, Tim Schroeder and Jason Schroeder; several great-nephews, a great-niece and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, at the Sunrise Bible Church in Sunrise Beach. Expressions of sympathy may be left online at www.kidwellgarber.com. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
