OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. in the Rock Creek Lutheran Church for Henry K. Lindley, 82, who died Sunday in the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, of complications of age.

He was born March 13, 1873, in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, to Ole O. and Karrie Lindley. He was married on October 5, 1927, to Ida Anderson Betts, and spent his life on the farm he purchased in Rock Township.

Survived by one son, Hilding, who is with the Marines in Hawaii; seven step-children: Mrs. Melvin Lindley, St. Ansgar; Ervin Betts, Osage; Marshall Betts, Iowa City; Andrew Betts, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Donald Shrode, Denver, Colorado; Gladys Betts, Iowa City, and Arthur Betts, Blue Earth, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by five brothers and one sister, his parents, his wife and one grandchild.
