Larry Krahenbuhl, age 71, of Osage, died Sunday, December 22, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Osage with Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.
Larry was born February 2, 1942, in Osage, the son of Roscoe and Mary Ann (Michels) Krahenbuhl. He attended school in Plymouth. On June 5, 1960, he married Gladys Davies at First United Methodist Church in Plymouth. Larry worked for Quad States Construction, and also custom farmed. Through the years, he owned and operated Krahenbuhl Construction, LK Poultry, and Larry’s Lounge in Long Lake, MN. Larry was a volunteer fireman for the Osage Fire Department. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, gardening, and visiting his favorite watering holes.
Larry is survived by his wife, Gladys; His daughter, Debbie (Ron) Goodale of Osage and children Trent (Sara) and their daughter Bella, Theran, Tallia, Thatcher; his daughter, Rebecca (Mark) Wagner of Osage and children Briana (Tyrel) Williamson and their three children Tate, Elyza, and Oliver, Britney (Dustin) Hofler and daughter Hadlee, Vincent (Allison) Wagner and daughter Charlotte; his son, Troy Krahenbuhl of Osage; his daughter, Jodie (Les) Zahn of Osage and children Jessica, Jenna and her daughter Gracie, and Jobe; eight siblings, Russell, Fred, Allen, Martin, Charlie, Sue, Jimmy, and Cindy; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law; and brother, Lynn.
