Albert G Schroeder was born June 9, 1860 at Prussia (Germany) to Wilhelm Schroeder and Fredericka Lewke, one of their six children.

Albert emigrated in 1875 with his parents to Wisconsin, moved to Spring Valley, Minnesota and settled finally at Mitchell County, Iowa.

Found in the 1885 census living at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa: William Schroedes 61, Rika Schroeder 34, Albert Schroeder 24, Hennan (Herman) Schroeder 11.

He married Anna Knekhan in 1887 at Mitchell County, Iowa.

Found in the 1895 & 1900 censuses at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1895: Albert Schroeder age 34.
1900: Albert G Schroeder 39, Anna E Schroeder 33, Adolph W Schroeder 12, Mary A Schroeder 11, Emma I Schroeder 9.

Found in the 1915 census at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1910 - 1930 censuses at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1910: Albert Schroeder 49, Annie Schroeder 43, Adolf Schroeder 22, Mary Schroeder 21, Emma Schroeder 19, Martin Schroeder 5, Frederika Schroeder 79.

1920: Albert Schroeder 59, Annie Schroeder 53, Martin Schroeder 15.

1930: Albert Schroeder 69, Anna Schroeder 64.

Albert G Schroeder died July 10, 1936 at Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at St Peter Cemetery, Toeterville, Mitchell, Iowa.
