Wilhelm Schroeder was born December 11, 1823 at Prussia, Germany.
He married Friedricka Lewke in 1856 at Germany.
The couple had six children - four boys and two girls. Three of the children were:
Albert (June 9, 1860 Prussia - July 10, 1936 Mitchell, Iowa)
William Frederick (December 27, 1861 Gross Schiatikow, Pomerania, Germany - January 22, 1944 St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa) and
Herman Reinholt (April 22, 1873 Pomerania, Germany - February 11, 1952 Toeterville, Mitchell, Iowa).
The family emigrated in 1875 to Columbia, Wisconsin, moved to Spring Valley, Minnesota, then to Rock, Mitchell County, Iowa.
Found in the 1880 census living at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa: Wm. Schroeder 57,farmer, Fredreka Schroeder 50, William Schroeder 18, Herman Schroeder 7.
Found in the 1900 census at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa: William F Schroeder 76, Frederica W Schroeder 69.
Wilhelm F Schroeder died February 19, 1909 at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the St Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Toeterville, Mitchell, Iowa.
