DIED OF BURNS
HERE FRIDAY

Funeral services for Albert Eidness, 72, of Osage, were held at trinity Lutheran Church on Monday afternoon, with interment at the Osage cemetery. Rev. E. Lang conducted the services. Arrangements were by C. R. Champion and Sons.

Mr. Eidness died Friday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, of complications of burns he had received at his home. He apparently stepped or fell into a bathtub of hot water.

Albert John Eidness, the son of Haldor J. and Inger Amundson Eidness, was born on March 30, 1899 in Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa. He received his schooling in Rock township and in North Dakota. Mr. Eidness worked on farms, at the Oliver plant, and as a painter and handiman.

On November 24, 1921 he was united in marriage to Olga Feldt at St. John's Lutheran church near Grafton. They lived in Osage the last 26 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a son who died in infancy.

Survivors include his wife, Olga; two sons, Duane and Dean of Osage; a daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Fred Schultz, of Mason City; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Feldt of St. Ansgar, and Mrs. Gladys Rassmusen of Mason City.
