MOUNTAIN VIEW, ARKANSAS - Paul Warren “Hooter” Davis, 59, of Mountain View, Arkansas, died on Sunday, November 3, 2013, as a result of a fatal car accident.

Paul was born on August 19, 1954 in Osage to Warren and June Davis. He resided in Osage into adulthood where he obtained his GED and received his welding certificate through NIACC. He married Teresa Baldwin of Osage in 1975 and the couple had one child, Jennifer. The family moved to Texas in 1981 and the couple later divorced.

In 1992, Paul met Brenda Chetister of Mountain View, Arkansas. The couple married the following year, making Mountain View their home with Brenda's three children – Charles, Jonathan, and Angela Lewis. For a brief time, the family moved to Iowa residing in Stacyville, but later returned to Mountain View.

Throughout life, Paul held various jobs in construction, factory work, and propane delivery. He also saw much of the country as a truck driver. He will be remembered for his passion for motorcycles and living his life on his own terms.

At the time of his death, Paul was survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda; a daughter Jennifer (Mike Adams) Blaha of Osage; step-sons Charles Lewis of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Jonathan (Amanda) of Mountain View, Arkansas, and a step-daughter Angela Lewis of Mountain View, Arkansas; two sisters Karen (Clint) Sutton of Hastings, Minn. and Ruth (Fred) Lehmann of Mason City; brother Michael (Laura) Davis of Waterloo; brother-in-law Paul Frascht; several grandchildren including Dominique Adams, Jasmine and Emma Blaha of Osage; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother June Davis; father and step-mother Warren and Sally Davis; sisters Cheryl Frascht and Michelle Davis.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, ARKANSAS - Paul W. Davis, 59, formerly of Osage, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, in Mountain View, Arkansas, of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, in the chapel of First United Methodist Church, Osage.
