BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA - Betty F. DeMar (Hungerford) of Burnsville, Minnesota, passed away into The Lord's hands on Saturday November 16, 2013.

Betty was born in Osage, Iowa, on Nov. 30, 1927, to the late Roy and Winnie Hungerford. Betty graduated from Osage High School in 1945.

Betty lived most of her adult life in Bloomington, Minnesota, while working for nearly 30 years for Bloomington Public Schools. Betty was a member of St. Richard's Catholic Church.

Betty is survived by her son, Jeff DeMar and wife Jeri; grandson, Mike DeMar and wife Tracy; and granddaughter, Maggie DeMar; along with sister-in-law Wilma Hungerford and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Betty in death are her daughter, Vicky Abrevaya; mother and father; along with her brothers Jean Hungerford, Charles Hungerford, his wife Neva, along with their daughter Mary Mackelprang (Hungerford) and John "Jim" Hungerford.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, Iowa, on Wednesday Nov. 20, 2013, at noon.

Please send donations to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, Iowa, or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels, Werness Brothers Chapel, 2300 W Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington, MN 55431 952-884-8145
