Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Eleanor Effie Sweet of Algonquin, Illinois, formerly of 105 Bishop Ave., Maywood.

Mrs. Sweet, 89, died of a stroke at 6 p.m. Monday at the home of her foster daughter, Mrs. Elwood Titlow of Lake in the Hills at Algonquin Her husband, Harlan Ashland Sweet, preceded her in death on December 31, 1951. Since that time she had made her home in Algonquin.

Surviving is her foster daughter, and one son, Harold of Palisades, Minnesota.

Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Stillwater Cemetery in Floyd County** near Charles City.

The body is at Hakansson funeral home in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

NOTES:
**The obituary was incorrect in stating the Stillwater cemetery was in Floyd county. It is actually in Mitchell county, a few feet north of the county line.
