Funeral services were held Saturday, April 18, 1987 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage for Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Rapp, 83, of Osage, Iowa. Rev. Jerry Newland officiated and burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, Iowa. Mrs. Rapp died Wednesday, April 15, 1987 at the Osage hospital.
She was born on October 16, 1903 at Orchard, Iowa, to Guy and Della (Boyle) Hoisington. She was a 1920 graduate of Orchard High School, and attended a business college in Charles City.
On August 11, 1935, she married Robert Rapp at her parents' home near Orchard. They lived and worked in Charles City until moving to Osage in 1968. Mrs. Rapp was a member of the Artists Association of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Osage; a sister, Helen Benson of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Vernon Hoisington of Orchard.
